Problem & Context
Boutique hotels suffered from fragmented guest communication and manual room synchronisation between Booking.com and Airbnb, leading to double-bookings and delayed guest support.

Architected and delivered the complete Zotel.ai platform solo — building a real-time channel manager via Channex webhooks, an AI WhatsApp concierge (OpenAI + WATI), and an administrative Remix operations panel.

03 — Implementation
Key Engineering Decisions
- Engineered an idempotent webhook ingestion pipeline to process instantaneous booking updates from Channex without race conditions.
- Connected OpenAI models to WATI WhatsApp messaging to handle guest check-in questions, amenities info, and automated FAQs 24/7.
- Built a responsive Remix admin panel with role-based access control (RBAC) and live data visualisations.
- Deployed and maintained production infrastructure on AWS EC2 with Docker, Nginx reverse proxy, and PM2.
