Problem & Context

Managing stock and raw materials across multiple physical warehouse facilities while selling on multiple e-commerce storefronts caused inventory discrepancies, stockouts, and accidental overselling.

Designed and engineered a custom ERP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) utilizing a Laravel backend and React frontend to provide live, synchronized stock control, batch tracking, and storefront integration.

03 — Implementation

Key Engineering Decisions

  • Built atomic inventory transaction models with row-level database locking to guarantee consistency during concurrent orders.
  • Integrated bidirectional webhooks to push real-time stock adjustments to Shopify and Shopware storefronts immediately upon warehouse scan.
  • Developed automated stock ageing analytics and dynamic reorder threshold calculators.
  • Constructed a high-density React operational dashboard for warehouse personnel and management reporting.
